I Love a Parade!

This past Saturday staff from Annville and Lebanon libraries rode in this decorated truck in the Annville Memorial Day Parade to promote the Summer Reading Program, Get a Clue @ Your Library. We threw candy and gave out bookmarks, while Scooby-Doo and our very own library detective tried to find a mystery to solve!

Poetry Contest Update

Thank you to everyone who entered the 8th Annual Poetry Contest!!! This year we have 160 entries! Your entries are on their way to our judges...winners will be announced June 5!!!

Attention Genealogists!

Did you know that the Library subscribes to Ancestry: Library Edition? This is a great resource for searching for your ancestors and includes records from the census; social security death index; WWI draft registration cards; and lots more! You can also download ancestral charts, research calendars, and correspondence records. This is a great resource for both serious genealogists and dabblers...I fall into the latter category, and I've found lots of info on my family already! It's addicting!

Visit any of the Lebanon County Libraries to access this great resource! Be sure to bring names of ancestors and any other info you have!
